Spiga Cucina Italiana is easily one of the best Italian meals we’ve had in Scottsdale. From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm and inviting – cozy lighting, lots of wood, and an elegant yet relaxed vibe that works equally well for a family dinner or a date night. The staff was friendly, attentive, and on top of things without ever feeling intrusive. The star of the evening was the pasta. You can really taste that it’s made fresh in-house – the texture has that perfect bite and the sauces are rich without being heavy. The agnolotti, in particular, was outstanding: delicate pillows of pasta with a deeply flavorful filling and a sauce that you want to mop up every last drop of. Every pasta dish we tried had clean, balanced flavors, the kind of food that makes you slow down and enjoy each bite. Dessert was just as memorable. The chocolate cake was rich and indulgent without being cloyingly sweet, and the tiramisu was exactly what you hope for – light layers with plenty of mascarpone, soft ladyfingers, and just the right hit of coffee. It felt like a proper Italian finish to the meal rather than an afterthought. And the unexpected hero of the night: the garlic bread. Fresh, hot, and perfectly crispy on the outside while still soft inside, with enough garlic and olive oil to be addictive but not overpowering. It really was the icing on the cake and set the tone for everything that followed. Overall, Spiga Cucina Italiana delivers on all fronts – food, ambience, and service. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for genuinely good Italian in North Scottsdale.

Always a culinary experience dining at Spiga Cucina Italiana in North Scottsdale. My family and I have been coming here since the new ownership, about 5 years and have always enjoyed the professional service and food quality experience. The owners, Denise and Tej with their team operate a great restaurant and have also ensured each guest receives such a wonderful evening. Thank you.

Dinner was fabulous! I love that the food is fresh and made in house. We will try the patio next time, inside was slightly loud.

Spiga Cucina Italiana is a true hidden gem in Scottsdale. From the moment we arrived, our server went above and beyond, taking time to get to know us and making sure every detail of our evening was perfect. We started with the caprese three ways and calamari – both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Our entrées were cooked perfectly, with sauces that were rich and full of depth. Dessert was the perfect finishing touch to an exceptional meal. The only thing we would have done differently is sit on their beautiful patio – it looked like the perfect setting for a romantic evening. This intimate, tucked-away spot deserves far more attention, and we will absolutely be returning soon.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Spiga. We'd been meaning to try it for a while and finally made it in last weekend. Started with the burrata and prosciutto, which was excellent – really fresh and flavorful. The calamari was perfectly crispy, which is always a good sign. For our mains, we went with the homemade pasta and you could definitely tell the difference in quality. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The portions are generous, so come hungry. Our server was attentive and helpful with the wine list, which we appreciated. The atmosphere is nice without being overly formal – good for a date or just a regular dinner out. If the weather's good, the patio is a great option. Overall, it's become one of our go-to spots for Italian in the area. The food is consistently good and the service has been great both times we've been. Worth checking out if you're looking for quality Italian food.

We dined at Spiga recently, and I can see why it is a neighborhood favorite. We did quite enjoy the experience, although the quality of the Italian is not the same as one would expect in a major city like Los Angeles or New York. We shared the chicken parmesan, which was great. It came with a vodka penne, which was good as well. Our meatball pizza was huge and tasty, but the highlight of the meal was the garlic bread, which we got as an appetizer. I have had better chicken parm and vodka penne, but the garlic bread really stood out as something special. I'm not quite familiar with the other Italian options in Scottsdale so I don't have much of a comparison, but I would think this would have to be one of the better places to go for a pleasant experience and an authentic Italian meal. Also, the service was great.

Spiga Cucina Italiana has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and honestly, it deserves far more recognition. The moment you walk in, you feel the warmth of a place that genuinely cares about great food and great service. The kitchen is scratch-made, and you can taste the difference in every bite. Their fresh pastas, made daily, are incredible. The osso bucco is the best I’ve ever had. And if you love seafood, their cioppino is phenomenal What really sets them apart is the service. The staff is personable, attentive, and truly welcoming. They treat you like family, remember your favorites, and make every visit feel special. Will be back for sure.
